Trail Info and Updates

  • Current Conditions - Updated 2/13 @ 8:20am

SKI: We got a little less than an inch of new snow on Wednesday. Just enough to make the trees beautiful again and to freshen up the ski trails. We have the tractor out this morning working on the skate lanes and classic tracks. Colder snow conditions so classic is a great choice today. Overall this afternoon and all day Friday will be great skiing before another 1-3 inches of new snow Friday night.

FAT BIKE: Trails will be excellent Thursday and Friday with a thin layer of new snow to provide extra grip over a very firm base. Great couple of days to get out and have some fun on the trails. Recommended 5-6 psi but possibly even higher with such firm and stable conditions.

SNOWSHOE: Snowshoe trails are open and are in great shape right now. Snowshoes are required. Remember, we offer free to borrow snowshoe in the chalet if you need.

SLEDDING: Sledding hill is open. There are a couple of sled available to borrow but please bring your own if possible. Tubes are not recommended as they gain too much speed, but traditional plastic sleds of all varieties are a great choice.

  • Current Maintenance

We are currently grooming the ski trails this morning. We waited a couple of extra hours to let the air temperature get above 0 degrees to allow for improved grooming quality.

  • Planned Maintenance

Looks like Saturday morning we will be grooming the ski trails and the fat tire bike trails with 1-3 inches predicted Friday night.

LIVE Ski Grooming Reports

All dates and times listed reflect when trail grooming was completed on that route. We ask that you wait at least 1 hour after grooming has been completed to ski to allow the trails to firm up properly.

The 7k and 10k trail information is divided into the "North" and "South" sections of those trails. Please see the maps below to better understand the "north" and "south" sections of our trail system.

We hope this provides more specific information to allow you to better plan your visit to WinMan Trails.
