Winter Trail Conditions
Updated: Saturday, December 13 @ 9:00am
Ski Trails
ALL TRAILS OPEN ✅
Current Condition:
Our groomers were out this morning freshening up the skate deck, working yesterday’s accumulations into the existing base. Coverage is excellent and the base is firm.
Classic tracks are currently medium quality. With today’s very cold temperatures, we aren’t able to reset them.
If you head out, please take extra precautions with the cold. It’s crisp, quiet, and beautiful out there.
Planned Grooming/Maintenance:
Groomers will head out to re-set the classic tracks when the temps warm up early next week.
Fat Bike Trails
OPEN ✅ Scout, WinMan One, Send It, Earn It, and Bridge are now open and riding well. That gives us roughly 5 miles of trail to enjoy!
CLOSED ❌ All other routes remain closed due to storm damage.
Current Condition:
Tire pressure matters more than ever right now. Please run very low pressure (2-3 psi) to avoid breaking through the crust, prevent ruts, and give yourself the best traction for a smooth, fun ride.
Planned Grooming/Maintenance:
Our crew was able to clear most of the debris off the remaining trails. Next week we will continue to pack and groom the base. We’ll open additional loops as soon as they’re rideable.
Snowshoe Trails
Current Condition:
OPEN ✅ WinMan Passage (blue loop), Lake Loop (green loop), Glacial Erratic (pink route) Marshmallow Connector (orange route) and Marshmallow Loop (yellow loop)
CLOSED ❌ All other trails
There are still trees and branches down across the closed routes from the winter storm making them unsafe to navigate.
If you’re able to help clear them, please sign up on our Volunteer page and lend a hand. Your help will get these trails open for everyone that much sooner.
Sledding Hill
Current Condition:
OPEN ✅
We’ve packed down a good portion of the slope with equipment, but nothing beats the power of actual sleds. So bring your crew, make some runs, and help us firm up the hill even more. Let the winter fun begin!
