2022 Competition is Complete

Ski Forest Ski

We are excited to try something new at WinMan Trails this winter. We know many of you can ski our 2.65K, 7K, and 10K loops by memory. But when was the last time you went off script and made up your own unique route?

This year we will be hosting friendly competitions each month featuring two unique routes: one that is less than 7K and one that is greater than 13K.

January route maps are posted below and there will be printed copies in the chalet with specifics of each route as well.

Participants need to time their efforts using their favorite tracking app or just a good old fashioned stop watch. Then submit their information either via email to winmantrails@gmail.com or on the whiteboard located in the chalet.

You will record your full name, age, gender, route distance, style (classic or skate) and time.

The full leaderboard will be updated online with the top 3 times for each category and division. There will be both Male and Female divisions as well as Slightly Older (50+) and Slightly Younger (less than 50) divisions to keep things fun and fair for everyone who wants to compete.

At the end of the month, the top times for each category and division will receive a prize package of WinMan swag.

RULES:

  1. Be honest. This is fun and friendly competition.
  2. Follow the route exactly as shown on the map to qualify. Made a wrong turn? Enjoy the rest of your ski and try again later.
  3. Try as many times as you would like. We will update the leaderboard with your best time.
  4. If recording your information in the chalet, write legibly and completely fill out the necessary information.
  5. Not everyone on the trails is racing for their best time. Be kind and respect your fellow skiers.
  6. Have fun exploring new trails!
